“I’d say [to my doppelganger] ‘Hey man, let’s hang!’ If he looks like exactly like me that would be really strange but if they didn’t look like me that’s ok,” says Forsman.
“I haven’t really met anybody that looks like me. I’ve heard of people looking like me or being like me but I haven’t met [any] yet,” says Black. “If I do or meet that person, I would not talk to them because I’d feel very upset about them looking like me.”
After watching this hardcore, mosh pit inducing show, it’d surprise even the toughest person that the members of Fall of Troy are sweet and even “pinch cheek” adorable. It’s hard not to notice this band has such a dedicated fan base and attract fans from all over the world. At the Toronto show there was a girl in the audience from Japan who came to Ontario just to see them live.
Fall of Troy is a three piece band from Mukilteo, Washington. They named the band after randomly finding a word in their history text books and although Forsman and Black took some AP history courses, Forsman says they’re not history buffs.
They formed at 17 and don’t regret starting so early. “It’s better I think, ‘cause if we continue doing it, it should just keep getting better so it’s easier to start early. Procrastination is never the best,” says Forsman.
